Pennies for the Path is a 2D Platformer game with a focus on game-impact and juice. You play as a little stickfigure, running through old abandoned ruins and picking up all the treasures you find along the way.
Pennies for the Path was made with the intention of exploring player-feedback, with an emphasis placed on designer-friendly systems to allow parameter-editing within the inspector for the best game-feel.
One of the greatest challenges of this project was the UI Toolkit programming, as I had never programmed dynamic UI until I tackled this project.
Experimental game mechanics
Designer-friendly system programming
Satisfying player-feedback
Dynamic UI Toolkit design and code
2D Games Animation
All graphics were made in either PowerPoint, Procreate or Adobe Illustrator.
